FAQ’s

Are you a non-profit?

No. Be That Place is a small business LLC on a mission to kickstart authentic conversations in every family everywhere.

Is my payment or gift tax-deductible?

No. We do not have tax-exempt legal status. Supporting Be That Place is for customers who want to contribute to content creation and our outreach efforts because they feel it positively influences their own families and communities.

What is the Open Door Pass?

Pay what you can monthly to gain access to ALL mini classes AND all future content. No strings attached. Cancel any time.

Give for at least 12 consecutive months and you’ll automatically be bumped up to the LIFETIME Open Door Pass. Have access to all content created now and in the future even when you choose to end your monthly giving.

What's included in the Open Door Pass?

Be That Place has a BIG vision that’s divided into 3 phases:

  1. Creating a hub for parents.
  2. Designing a revolutionary space for kids.
  3. Building a bridge for school and family.

What’s included in the Open Door Pass depends on where we are at in these phases. Look here for an up-to-date guide.

Can Be That Place guarantee achieving its vision?

Since this movement is propelled forward financially solely by the collective giving of its members, Be That Place cannot guarantee it will achieve all outcomes. But we CAN guarantee we will work our buns off trying.

Is my payment secure?

Be That Place uses Stripe hosted payment pages for financial transactions and monthly giving. All monthly giving updates & cancellations as well as payment details are handled by the consumer through Stripe’s subscription portal.

The “Be a giver” donation button in the footer of Be That Place’s website is a one-time donation powered by ConvertKit. Per their site: “ConvertKit is powered under-the-hood by Stripe, a world leader in payment processing & fraud detection.”

Can I get a refund?

Absolutely! Email help@bethatplace.com to request a 100% refund within 30 days of buying a product or gifting a donation. No questions asked.

Where do I go for help?

Email help@bethatplace.com with any questions. We’ll get it sorted out for you.

Do you have a private Facebook group?
